Eliza Daniel Stewart : ウィキペディア英語版 | Eliza Daniel Stewart Eliza Daniel Stewart, (1816 - 1908), was a British woman, and an early temperance movement leader. In 1872, she urged wives of "drunkards" to sue alcohol dealers and may have been the first proponent of what are now known as server liability laws. The next year she organized the first Women's Temperance League. In 1874 she played a prominent role in establishing the Women's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU). She visited the United Kingdom, where she helped organize the British Women's Temperance Association and the Scottish Christian Union. In 1895, Miss Stewart was the keynote speaker at the World WCTU convention in London, England. ==Source==
